Rocky Research has been a recognized leader in thermal and energy management design innovations for the last 20 years. The company’s development of revolutionary solid-gas complex compound sorption systems has been featured in Business Week, Popular Science, the New York Times and several trade publications.
But complex compounds represent only a small part of the complex combination of service and expertise Rocky Research provides to customers such as the U.S. Departments of Defense and Energy, prime contractors such as General Electric and Lockheed-Martin as well as Carrier, Viking Range, Igloo, and Johnson Controls among others.
With facilities in Boulder City, Nevada, and Huntsville, Alabama, Rocky Research is home to a dedicated group of scientists, engineers, technicians and support personnel. Our Boulder City headquarters is equipped with an analytical laboratory for chemical analysis, physical property measurements and prototype development, assembly and testing facilities for thermal equipment, and a prototype machine shop.
The Huntsville facility offers prototype assembly as well as production and integration of commercial, industrial, or military high-density electronic systems utilizing Rocky Research’s advanced thermal management approaches and devices. The facility earned the International Standardization Organization's certification in 2010 (ISO 9000:2008).
